English Frustrations
Ok. I really don't enjoy English 2010. Maybe it's just my professor. Or maybe its my long history of not doing well in that class. Or most likely, I am a procrastinator. Last night I stayed up til 3:30 in the morning writing a paper. It was due this morning. My class starts at 7. I slept a little late and got up at 6:30. So I had a solid 20 minutes to get ready for school and the day which I miraculously accomplished. I hurried to school and rushed inside right at 7 and looked at my classroom and there was nobody inside. The lights were off. I just happened to not go the previous time so they possibly made an announcement that either class was cancelled or they were having it in a different classroom. Either way, I slept only 3 hours for nothing. NOTHING. I didn't have to work til 9 so I walked to a couch in the hall and fell asleep for an additional hour and a half. What a wasted effort. Sheesh

Hardware Ranch
Monday, Rachel and I, went to Hardware Ranch up in Logan, which is a ranch where they feed elk and other animals. They take you on this sleigh ride right up to the elk. It was really cool but very cold.

New Car
Well, yesterday I purchased a new car. It was quite the welcome, sense the last month or so I've been cruising around on a borrowed scooter. The timing was quite perfect also because starting today there is a cold front that the local weatherman has called, "Arctic Cold". The new car is a 2000 Nissan Maxima and I really like it and it is a step up from my old 1996 Nissan Maxima. I'm a fan of the Maxima's. They're great.

Testimony
So, I decided to write again on this thing. It's Sunday afternoon/evening. Yesterday, my older siblings invited me to dinner, which I think they especially wanted to hang out with Rachel but she is in Logan so they couldn't just un-invite me so i went along anyway. We originally wanted to go Chili's but they were so busy we just went to Quiznos. Still very tasty. Then afterwards, we went to my sister's house and watched the Utah Jazz destroy Denver on their big screen. The really fun part was we were just talking afterwards about how funny my family is and that our most favorite times are the holidays when we all get together and act funny. We don't act funny intentionally, but we don't hold back when one of us says something unintelligent or does something embarrassing. It was a good night reminiscing.
And then as I was talking to Rachel afterwards, she asked me if i was going to bare my testimony in church the next day, which replied a simple "no". She strongly encouraged and put some good reasoning behind it. She said that she heard one day, from someone, that when we bare our testimony to others, Heavenly Father is more eager to forgive us of things that we have done. Then in mid-conversation, I started to think that I don't do enough on my end to make forgiveness easy. So I kept thinking on that principle, along with the statement that when we bare our testimonies, it strengthens ours, and today in church, I got up and said a simple testimony, that probably didn't last longer than 30 seconds. But at least I did it. I was very impressed with myself for doing that because I never do that. So that put me in a good mood and the more I think about it, the more I realize that I don't think that I made very much sense. Oh well.

Funny Office Quote
Here is my current favorite quote from NBC's, "The Office"
"Bro’s before ho’s. Why? Because your bro’s are always there for you. They’ve got your back after your ho rips your heart out for no good reason. And you were nothing but great to your ho. And you told her that she was the only ho for you and that she was better than all the other ho’s in the world. And then…and then suddenly she’s not your ho no mo’."
