Jazz Game

A couple of weeks ago my parents had a couple of extra tickets to the Jazz/Atlanta game. The tickets were mid court on the 12 row. It was the closest I've been and it was awesome. Even though they lost.

Matisyahu Private Concert

Matisyahu is a Hasidic Jew who is also a reggae rapper. In fact, he is one of my favorites right now. Well last Thursday, through Twitter, he mentioned that he was going to be in Salt Lake at 101.9 to do a radio recording and that the first 5 people who respond will be invited. I happened to be available and one of the first 5.
So there was about 40-50 people there and they interviewed him and he sang 4 acoustic songs. Afterwards he signed autographs. It was a good day.

Rugby 7's

This past weekend, Rachel and I went down to Las Vegas with my parents to watch a Rugby 7's tournament. The primary reason for this trip was because the New Zealand All Blacks came to visit. All-in-all, there were about 12 countries. It was a lot of fun. While my dad and I were at the tournament, Rachel and my mom went to the parade of homes in St. George. Something for everyone!
Rugby 7's is a little different from regular rugby where there are only 7 people on the field for each team instead of 15. Therefore it is a faster paced game. There are two halves, each are only seven minutes. So the games are pretty short. So during the course of the Saturday there were 24ish games. We didn't stay for all of the but for most of them.

Snowmobiling

Yesterday my dad and I went up snowmobiling up past Lake Creek. It was my first time out this year and really the first wintery thing I've done so far.
